The test assignment is one of the most important stages of job search, the importance of which is often underestimated. Usually, candidates associate it with a kind of "exam" of their skills and abilities. But, this is not quite true. Completing a test assignment is useful not only for a potential employer, but also for an applicant. Let's figure out why.
Start from the beginning. You have applied for a job at Scientific Alliance, our HR managers have read your CV, call you in for an interview, and offer to do a test assignment. What can it be? Usually, we focus on two types of test assignments. Technical, the purpose of which is to demonstrate the skills of working with the necessary software, or creative, in which you can express yourself and turn on your imagination to the fullest. Of course, there are also cases when both technical and creative tasks are combined in one test. It all depends on the features of the specific position you are applying for.

Why do we need this?
- Show typical tasks that you will face in your work. Perhaps you expected something completely different? And the proposed tasks are not what I would like to deal with in the proposed position.
- Evaluate how you use your skills in solving real work situations. Which, unfortunately, cannot be identified at the interview stage.
- To determine whether you are "on the same wavelength" with us, whether your logic of completing tasks coincides with our vision of the workflow.
What is this for you?
- Better understand the specifics of the company's activities, our approaches and methods of work.
- Find the answer to the question "will I be able to do this every day?", evaluate relevant knowledge.
- Gain new experience and "stir up imagination", gain skills (especially at the beginning of a career).
Just a tip

If the test turned out to be too difficult, but you are ready to learn, do not hesitate to honestly admit that certain points are beyond your strength. But (but of course), it is still important to note how you would solve the proposed task/problem/case. We respect frankness and readiness for self-improvement, so (at least) we will send a detailed feedback to your test. Or maybe we will offer a job
We are always looking forward to your test assignment!
