The scientific holding company «Scientific Alliance» is celebrating its anniversary – 10 years in the field of expert support for scientists. During this time, our team of specialists has undergone a path of profound professional development, while the company itself has significantly expanded its sphere of influence and gained recognition in dozens of countries. How was the «Scientific Alliance» holding company formed? Which achievements are we most proud of?
How did the history of «Scientific Alliance» begin?
The company’s history began in 2016 with the opening of its first office in Kyiv. At that time, we began actively cooperating with scientists from Ukraine, the Republic of Kazakhstan and CIS countries. In just one year of work, we managed to significantly expand our sphere of influence – as evidenced by the fact that our clients already represented more than 30 countries around the world.
Alongside the expansion of our geographical reach, the company was also developing internally. In 2017, we developed our own corporate identity and created a brand book, as well as signed the first official memorandum of cooperation with a higher education institution in Ukraine, which, in turn, became the first formally documented partnership in our history.
The founder of the holding company, Denys Pylypenko, was nominated for the «Person of the Year» award in 2021 for his significant contribution to the development of science. In addition, over the years, the company’s activities have repeatedly received professional recognition – from national business awards to industry distinctions in the fields of science and education. This result confirms that our approach to working with scientists is recognised not only by clients, but also by independent experts.

What have we managed to achieve over 10 years of work?
Over ten years of work, the company has progressed from a small office in Kyiv to an international structure recognised in dozens of countries around the world. Among the key achievements along this path are:
- Geographical expansion. Over 10 years, we have opened four offices: two in Ukraine, one in the Republic of Kazakhstan and one in Kyrgyzstan. We also do not plan to stop there and aim to open new offices in other countries.
- Growth of the team. As of 2026, the company employs more than 250 specialists, as well as several hundred temporary partners and employees.
- Our own certification centre. We created the «Certification Center», whose activities are carried out in accordance with the legislation of the countries where the company is represented. It issues scientists with official certificates confirming completion of training courses provided by our scientific and educational centre.
- Educational activities. Over all the years of its existence, the company’s scientific and educational centre has conducted hundreds of webinars and seminars for more than 20,000 researchers.
- Partnership network. We actively cooperate with universities and scientific organisations, as evidenced by more than 100 signed memoranda with institutions in Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Albania and other countries.
- Awards. Evidence of our professionalism and competence is provided not only by client feedback, but also by distinctions in various categories. Among the main awards are the Ukrainian Business Award in the «Business of the year» category, the title «Best Enterprise of the Country», the «Scientific Company Award» for high levels of efficiency and expertise, the honorary award «Choice of Postgraduate and Doctoral Students», «Industry Leader 2025», and, on the eve of the anniversary, the company was recognised as a leader in the «Country’s Choice» business award.
How has «Scientific Alliance» earned the trust of the scientific community?
Over 10 years of work, we have come to understand that scientists trust results, not promises. That is why our team of specialists personally supports every project (from selecting a journal to final publication), so that the researcher can focus on their scientific work rather than on the bureaucratic and technical details of the process.
We work with scientists from more than 65 countries around the world, and each time we take into account the specifics of the particular academic system – the requirements of attestation commissions, the particularities of national assessment systems, and so on. This allows us to provide each client not with standardised, but genuinely personalised support, regardless of the country they come from.
In addition to direct publication support, we are actively engaged in scientific activities, including: conducting webinars and seminars, cooperating with leading universities and scientific institutions through dozens of signed memoranda, and supporting young researchers on the path towards their first publications. In this way, we not only help individual scientists to publish, but also contribute to the development of the scientific community as a whole.
